Sea bass with ginger and onions

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pieces of sea bass +/- 500 grams. Only scaled and belly stripped
  • 1 sprig of thyme
  • 6 pieces of white onions (in thin rings)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 10 cm fresh ginger (peeled and thinly sliced)
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • 40 grams of butter

Preparation method

Heat a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil and add the onions, garlic and ginger. Bake this until the onions are soft, about 10 minutes. Meanwhile turn the oven on to 210 degrees. When the onions are ready, divide them neatly in an oven dish and place the fish on top. Divide the butter into cubes over the fish and pour in the glass of wine. Now put the dish in the oven and set the temperature back to 180 degrees. Bake it for 15 minutes and then cover it with aluminum. Bake it for another 10 minutes. After this you take the dish out of the oven and grind some fresh pepper over it.
